US ESTA
The US ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) is an electronic approval, which waves the need to obtain a visa prior to travel.
Travellers must be entering the United States for a stay of less than 90 days for the purpose of short-stay business, pleasure or transit travel.
To be eligible to travel to the US under the Visa Waiver Program you must hold a passport from one of these countries. See all countries.
Applicants that do not comply with all the mandatory questions need to obtain a visa prior to travel.
Not from an eligible country?
Travellers holding a passport from all other countries must apply directly to the US Embassy for a visa to enter the United States. Please refer to the CIBT Service Directory for US Embassy Contact Information.
