UK Registered Traveller Service

Travel to or from the UK on regular basis? Apply for the UK Registered Traveller Service, an annual membership which enables you to pass through the UK Border faster on your entry into the UK.

Membership Benefits

  • Access to e-passport gates and fast entry lanes at the following airport and Eurostar terminals; Gatwick, London City, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, East Midlands, Brussels, Paris, Lille
  • Avoid long queues
  • Avoid the need for landing card
  • Will not undergo an interview upon arrival

Application Criteria

  • A national of one of the following countries:

Africa - Botswana, Namibia, Seychelles.

Asia Pacific - Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong (must be a Special Administrative Region passport), Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan (you must have a personal ID number on the photo page), Tonga.

Europe - Andorra, Holy See (Vatican City), Monaco.

Middle East - Israel.

North & Central America - Bahamas, Canada, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, USA.

South America - Mexico, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay.

You must also have one of the following:

Hold a valid visa (exclusions are Tier 5 Sporting & Creative Concessions, EEA family permits, discretionary leave and leave outside the rules.)

Have visited the UK 4 times in the last 24 months e.g. for business, education, tourism or medical treatment.

Service Fee (including membership):

A £70 annual Membership and Registration fee is charged by UK Border Force with a CIBTvisas service fee of £30 + VAT. If your application is not successful the Membership portion (£50) of your annual Membership and Registration fee will not be charged. The registration and service fee will still apply.

Receiving your membership:

Membership status and details will follow by email; after background checks are made by UK Border Force. This may be after the return of your passport if applying for a visa with CIBTvisas

If your application is successful you will be asked to finalise the process on your next entry to the UK. CIBTvisas will advise you on your membership status and the next steps within 10 working days.

Renewal of your membership:

Contact CIBTvisas before the end of your annual membership, to arrange a renewal.
